Using either standard Motorola Canopy, or Motorola Canopy Advantage access points and subscriber modules we offer high data-rate connective for campus or crosstown networks. The networks can be operate in a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint mode.
Frequencies of operation vary from 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz, 5.4 GHz, or 5.7 GHz. Data rates range from 20 Mbps to 45 Mbps for backhaul functions. The range of operation can be anywhere from a few feet to 35 miles. With this selection of frequency bands of operation, your network can be maintained in either a line-of-sight or non-line-or-sight mode.
From a data throughput standpoint, a 5 MB file can be sent on the downlink in 11 seconds, compated to 42 seconds on DSL, 5 minuites and 13 seconds for ISDN, and 11 minutes and 56 seconds for dial-up.
